Hello Robin Stevenson this is Vern Jensen'55,

Science teacher at DMS, then PVMS (where we met), then Desert Hills, then Tonaquint, then retired.

Louis Jensen'80 is named Louis Vern Jensen III, my oldest son. His son Lincoln Jensen'11 is in morning kindergarten. Nurses were few and far between to start the school year.

I was grateful to hear you had kept in good touch with Louis and Bonnie. Can you believe how willing they were to be there those first 7 days until a nurse came on board? Your emails and phone calls lubricated the process. They think they have the most helpful principal. I promise not to tell them the truth!

Good work and thank you!

I was baby sitting for Louis a few of the days so he could be there without Grace his 2 year old. She and I have the same birthday: 7/16

I was amazed at all, Al,l ALL the little kids on bike from his neighborhood. Louis explained it is a walking-school. I love the round about up north of the school. The winding roads in that community are sure a lot different than in town.

KathyX has MS and divorced me 5 years ago. Multiple Sclerosis affects the nerves and brain. I think her brain was deeply affected, :). I have 6 kids: 3 boys, 3 girls, 4 of them in town. My last son is not yet married, Michael'92.  I have 12 gkids: 6 boys, 6 girls. But I think only half the results are in. Give me another decade. . .

Bobby Garrett retired this mad scientist at 57yo. (Feb 2013) Luckily I had my 30 years in! So I split my retirement and my alimony is covered for the rest of Kathyx's life.

I go to the Family History Center everyday and do Italian Indexing. They begged for volunteers 3 years ago and I find it filled with riddles, challenging and productive. If I really loved my ancestors I would get into research, but not yet.

I learned how to use the snip it/ paste it tool at the FHC so I included the picture at the top that I knew you would love. Don't we love to look at ourselves! Not.

Thanks for all you do. I am proud of you!

Vern

PS. Don't you love visual aids! Once a teacher always a teacher. . . Here is the first death certificate in my current batch. The hand writing doesn't come any nicer! I served a mission to Guatemala and Italian and Spanish are both derived from Latin.
