Half the population of the earth never lived long enough to marry.

Sat11/4 Is it a miracle to have Christ show himself? Who has he shown himself to? Who hasn’t he shown himself to? Moroni is inspired by Ether prophesying from morning until the going down of the sun. Ether’s father was kept in captivity all his days. His grandfather was put into captivity and lived out his life in captivity. They are descendants of the brother of Jared. Over a thousand years have gone by and they still keep track of being descendants of the brother of Jared! Who cares? Answer: the kings. @ Yes it is a miracle to have Christ appear. He came to Moroni’s fathers after his resurrection and Moroni says that proves that at least some of them had faith, because there can be no miracles without faith. Awesome. Clear. 12 For if there be no faith among the children of men God can do no miracle among them; wherefore, he showed not himself until after their faith.Ether prophesies great and marvellous things but the people won’t believe him because they don’t see them. This inspires Moroni to explain faith in detail. As Janice says: Believing is Seeing. Once you believe you can see! The secret: believe! Are you up to believing? Can you exercise that secret key? I can. Are there any helps? Are there any assists? Yes, but you have to want to believe. Who wouldn’t want to? This is a kind God. This is a loving, understanding, generous God. Can you imagine a God like that? Wouldn’t you want to have a God like that? Is there a better kind? But this God requires me to believe in him. If I want to have miracles I have to give him credit. If I will give him full credit he will perform miracles in my life! Does that sound like the kind of person I would like to be? Absolutely. I love being kind. I love understanding. I love being generous. It gives me such joy. Am I getting familiar with the feelings of the Celestial Kingdom? Yes. Will I be comfortable there? Yes. That is what it is all about. Is it social? Yes. Are we family? Yes. Can we contribute and be productive? Absolutely. See how it works? @ What is the opposite? 1- don’t believe. 2- don’t give credit. 3- be selfish. 4- be hateful, seek revenge, be vindictive. 5- don’t contribute. 6- don’t honor. 7- don’t love. How does that sound? Yuck. No thank you. So practice the secret: believe. Perform the action: contribute. The world has need of willing men who wear the worker’s seal. Come help the good work move along, put your shoulder to the wheel. Are these men wearing the worker’s seal? Am I wearing the worker’s seal? Except for when I bathe!
Can you guess which chapter in Ether I started copying today? Btw, that was an opening song for Gen Priesthood meeting. I felt the brotherhood of it! We can work together. Btw, that picture was the first when I googled: who wear the worker’s seal. @@ I stayed home with cold symptoms yesterday, I slept. I noticed how badly I missed getting out of the house and into FS, social atmosphere. @@
Livia died at the age of 16. You wouldn’t believe all the child deaths! What will she look like on the other side? Would you want to marry her? @ In earth life we have been brain washed by the media and our society to think that certain things make women beautiful. Isn’t it hard to imagine societies in the past the loved fat women because they had enough to eat and could produce healthy children?  So how we have been brain washed. You and I know it does not make a bit of difference to HF! But we are slaves to our mindset. We are slaves to our brainwashing. @ A few years ago it was the year of the butt. Versus breast. Twerking came into mode. Kardashian was on the front of PAPER magazine because of her big butt! Yuck. Are you a legs or a boob or a butt man? See how strange we are. Personally I think blue eyes are so attractive. What color hair do you prefer? In my late teens I told my short, brunette, hazel-eyed, beak nosed, mother I would never marry anyone like her. You can probably imagine why. The men thought she was hot stuff. And she loved to strut her stuff. But her meanness tainted her body image in my mind. Conclusion: Keep thinking about half the world’s population that never lived past a year or two and will be hunting for a righteous spouse on the other side. Live as righteously as you can so you will be sought after. @@@Hello Brandon it is Sunday night, as you know I like to write my home teachees a text message each Sunday to try and inspire them as well as to give them a monthly message since they don't like me coming to visit. Little do they know that this way they get a weekly message instead of a monthly message. :-) I tried to feel inspired when I write them. I want them to feel loved and accepted and encouraged and cared for. This week Bruce Randall texted me saying that he would let me know when he is in town, he drives a truck for Parke Cox trucking, and then we would be able to visit. I told him that would be fine. But I still sent him a message today. Here are my messages from the last two weeks: Sunday, October 29, 2017 12:48 PM.
4 AM Varlo pulls out of St. George.
That's the plan. Monday morning! How do I know? Frank Haney. [Brandon, as it turns out Frank is flipping Varlo's house. That means he buys it, improves It, then resells it. No wonder he knows when Varlo was moving out.-v]
Congratulations Varlo n Andrea on packing. What a pain. CONGRATULATIONS! THANK you for all you added to our community. Thank you for your gentle kind articulate voice. Thank you for raising your kids here. Thank you for professing your wife is full of acceptance, love, and kindness. Thank you for your priesthood lessons, even amidst your trials. God bless you.  ~~ ~~ ~~ Fifth Sunday meeting today, primary program etc.
You don't have to wonder what little children are feeling. They show it. I saw more cute feelings today. You would not believe how young our primary has gotten. Rows of tiny little kids! And they sang their hearts out for sister Hoppy!
We learn to hide her feelings. They are liabilities.! But be sure you fight that shield and share them with your God. He likes all all all our feelings. But aren't there bad or wrong feelings? Vern doesn't believe so. do you?
At least not my home teachees Have. Mine are good people And all their feelings are perfectly acceptable to God. Primary president Bradley reminded me in her talk about that. Feelings is also how the Holy Ghost witnesses to us.
So pray Intel heavenly father what you're thinking and feeling. Tell him over and over again because our feelings change. Don't ignore him. Talk to him. Visit with him. You can trust him. I promise.  V
I love you. You are wonderful. BR, A, V, E.[BruceR, AndreaD, VarloD, EricY]
PS. time change next week. It's about time!
Sunday, November 5, 2017 12:55 PM. Good afternoon BR, A, V, E.
“Testimony” was the closing him and I barely could sing it for tears. What a sweet meeting. What gripping sharing! Do You care about what is going on in the lives of your fellow Saints? Well we felt it today. And since we all know that the Bishop has cancer he doesn't have to testify long for the Ward members to key in on what he says. They love him. In his brief testimony was reflected various times by others. We had to tiny girls baptized yesterday. You should've seen them in their long white dresses today so sweet and their parents couldn't help but share how touched they were by the feelings of their baptisms.
We are spiritual beings being tested in a physical world. V@@So Brandon, I would have been much more worried about Varlo Davenport and his family if I hadn't known that they had Mark Clayton as a psychotherapist. @I think I mentioned to you that I was really pleased when Frank Haney told me that Varlo never responded to anything religious. He only texted Frank back when it was about selling the house. That means I wasn't alone. I can say that now after all these months and years of praying and hoping for them.
@@@ my brother Spot has never met Mark Clayton. He has lived in Boise Idaho for 20 years. Last month he moved to Denver. This week he expressed great pleasure at the response he received from his Urgent care physician. Spot turned 40 on November 1. He has been extremely private for the last 20 years and probably his whole life. He seems to be coming out of his shell and sharing a little bit more. Not only was I surprised but I cheered when I read this next text message from Scott.: Friday, November 3, 2017 1:32 PM. I love you! Thank you so much for the birthday voicemail. I have an inner ear and sinus infection so I am late in responding. I am sad to hear about Camille. [I had told him about Camille's life of fighting suicide. This last week we celebrated his arriving at the age of 40, having suffered all of the childhood abuse that we did. Scott was the last one and so my parents methods had been perfected by then. His testes were ruined and he has never been able to have children. He would lay lethargic in my parents bed day after day. They said that his anus was too small. He was just damaged from their sexual play.] I went to the urgent care doctor yesterday for the infection, since you don't need an appointment, and also to see if they would give me a holdover replacement prescription for my Fibromyalgia medicine which the movers stole. I was so surprised when in walked a clinical psychiatrist social worker. He came because I had answered that I had thought of suicide in the past. I don't hide from mental illness, I'm trying to break the social stigma. It floored me that it was just four questions and he KNEW me .He knew my past, and explained that almost all child abuse cases that end up in therapy in adult life suffer from some level of autoimmune disease. WOW! He explained so much, things I have put together, but just not in the whole picture. He did this in 20 min. I found my “Mark Clayton”. Awesome! He has answers and I'll be able to get to that next level of help.
Friday, November 3, 2017 6:31 PM. From Vern-WHAT? NO FAIR! I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU! I am surprised, pleased, and amazed. That is so wonderful! Thank you heavenly father. V@@Wasn't that a Kick Brandon, when he even mentioned Mark Clayton? I love it.@Monday 11/6 Good morning Brandon, I enjoyed your letter. Thank you very much for writing. At one point you acted like you didn’t know what to say. Silly. Just comment on what I have written. Tell me what you think about one of the wild crazy variety of subjects I dialog about! Nevertheless, Thank you for writing. Do you like seeing what you wrote? Joseph Smith used to make a copy of all the letters he wrote. That makes sense when it takes so long to get a reply that you can’t remember what you said. Do you remember the 1832 first vision account? That same book was filled with copies of correspondence. Good morning this is pretty cool I used to have to unplug my stereo system before I could use it. I’m talking about my Dragon speak dictating machine. They have updated the program and now I can’t even see it. But there’s a little microphone button that is either red or yellow or green. Dragon speak wants people to be able to use their dictation program for even flying around on the web. I only use it for dictating.
October 26, 2017. Hey Vern, :-) don’t get too excited, I’m not even sure what there is to report. Shurtz, Shurtz, Yep I did know a beautiful redhead by the name of Shauri shirts. She is probably forgotten about me. The daughter of Ken Shurtz who works at the BLM office. 345 E. Riverside Dr. You might find the gift shop /visitors information interesting. You are an outdoorsy guy, check it out if you’d like. The wonderful people who work there are amazing, and very knowledgeable about the area and good hikes in the area. You could also buy your Christmas tree tag there, it’s about that time year.
Okay, so that’s my home away from home, so if you mentioned me to Becky, Jody Hemel, Arlene Perry, or any of the volunteers or other employees please let them know I constantly think of the good memories we shared. I don’t expect you to bring me up if you do happen to stop by. Father this: another reason I don’t like to write: feelings that can be described as homesickness. There you go: feelings. Crazy face. Your favorite topic.
Thank you for being so consistent in your including me in your adventures, and spiritual journeys. [This was the perfect thing to say! It compliments and encourages me in three ways. Thx.-v]
You know, thinking about it, I kind of think I made an assumption about the statement: “Elder Shurtz said she dated his sister.” He probably hates me. :-) anyway…
What do you want to know? My experiences are boring, and other things I just won’t talk about. You asked me to talk about my family… That’s not my place. I think they are awesome; you say they are “dysfunctional”. Nothing I write will change your opinion. I will not write any life stories: might especially. Keep smiling, and spreading good vibes. – Me
@@tues11/7 Hey Brandon, I have a brother, Spot’77 who almost had to declare bankruptcy to get all his bill collectors out of his life. Poor guy was being called scores of times a week and letters in the mail and all that. Heart surgery brother, Adrian’60 couldn’t believe he gave up coding/ programming to be a parasite on society 7 years ago. Only problem was SS never accepted them as disabled so K n S ran up their bills and finally couldn’t make their house payments. Adrian was so sad they were losing the house. @ Vern, Brent, Julie, Adrian, Camille, Gayelinn, Spot, all have stress diseases and maladjustments to society. Spot was so excited to find a clinical psychiatrist just by owning suicide feelings on his first visit to intensive care, that gave him credit and seemed to understand him and accept him. He likes to research things like me. So now comes his recommended article about how we 7 abused kids are having symptoms that are normal for our damage. As you know I like to call us “the walking wounded.” Remember the sons of perdition? Mark Clayton told Camille that even after all his abuse victims my parents are the first ones who he thinks qualify as sons of perdition. Do you think the Aztecs and others that believed in and practiced human sacrifice were deceived and really worshipping Satan? I do. But they wouldn’t qualify as Sons of P because they hadn’t seen and known the Saviour. Judas did. @ Here is Scott’s article. It looks long and boring but I am expecting to find some reassurance in it.

Autoimmune Disease & Histories of Stress

Adults having functional (symptoms without apparent cellular alterations) and organic (observable cellular changes in target tissue) diseases also have childhood stressful histories. Patients with rheumatoid arthritis not only report chronically stressful adult histories (e.g. unhappy marriages or relationships, difficulties at work, or with children, etc.), but also present histories of difficulties in earlier interactions with their mothers and experiences of considerable chronic threat (Baker, 1982). In addition, rheumatoid arthritis patients report childhood histories that are characterized by emotional neglect and abuse (Walker et al., 1997a). Later adult joint swelling is associated with an increased sense of depression in response to difficulty managing interpersonal conflict as well as conflictual coping with flares (Zautra et al., 1994, 1999; Marcenaro et al., 1999).[conflictual coping with flares - there is the first “over my head psychological jargon”-vj{?}] Higher stress levels in this patient population are associated with androgen-stimulated estradoil negative feedback and higher stress neurohormonal prolactin activity. Both hormones have been positively correlated with the rheumatoid arthritis patient’s sense of depression (Zautra et al., 1994). With disease progression (or just prior to disease expression) patients assess and conclude that they cannot garner control over and cope with aversive interpersonal life events. This sense of “giving up” appears to underlie the chronicity of their physical illness (Zauntra et al., 1999). The intensity of this sense of loss of control is also associated with the degree of disease flare reactivity to stress.
Patients with systemic lupus erthymatosis present histories of marked childhood emotional deprivation (Otto & Mackay, 1967). Just prior to symptom expression, patients emit a sense of helplessness and hopelessness, “I give up”, that relates to the SLE patient’s inability to cope with the effects of current and prior stress (Blumenfeld, 1978).
The majority of multiple sclerosis (MS) patients, {Kathyx} like healthy controls, tend to portray their childhood home life and themselves as moderately to very happy and also as relaxed and taking things in stride, respectively (Warren et al., 1982). Despite these similarities MS patients rated that they experience more anxiety in response to current stressors. Upon further inquiry MS patients disclose disturbing memories relating to wartime combat, an unpredictable urban attack, a major automobile accident and minor injury, raising oneself at the age of twelve years, and persistent beatings by step-father, etc (p. 829). Numerous adult stressors precede the initial onset of MS symptoms (Warren et al., 1982). Despite MS patients more positive outlook on life, psychiatric assessment has revealed that MS patients differ from healthy subjects in the insecurity that drives their need to seek greater love, their use of rigid defense mechanisms, i.e. as denial and minimization, and difficulty at resolving inner conflicts due to poor coping skills. Many of these personality characteristics date back to early childhood and correlate positively with symptom severity (Diana et al., 1985). [I found that interesting. MS people painted a rosy picture at first!-v]
Chronic stress also appears to play a more obvious role in functional diseases like fibromyalgia and irritable bowel disease. Fibromyalgia (Taylor et al., 1995) is condition that is associated with different types of pain and other symptoms, e.g. headaches, stiffness, backaches, abdominal cramps, fatigue, numbness, etc. with no apparent structural abnormality in the tissue. The extent of pain is measured by tender point counts. Fibromyalgia patients report (Imbierowicz & Egle, 2003) having had very poor emotional relationships with one or both parents, particularly fathers (McBeth et al., 1999), and rated low levels of emotional security. [bps, remember when Spot said the movers stole his fibromyalgia medication?-v] The parents of fibromyalgia patients have also been described as being emotionally neglectful, abusive, and as of being psychologically unavailable (Walker et al., 1997b) to their children. In addition fibromyalgia patients seem to have difficulties in talking about and expressing emotional difficulties with their own parents as well as affection in the course of their roles as marital partner and parent (Imbierowicz & Egle, 2003). [Sister Michele Randall city councilwoman running for her next 4 year term, neighbor to Davenports; Sister Shelley Caldwell our behind the scenes ward program creator both skip church all the time from pain and fear have Fibromyalgia, as does Patsy Lamb, stake president’s wife emeritus.-v] Fibromyalgia patients report witnessing parental violence in their families of origin (Imbierowicz & Egle, 2003), family disruption (Goldberg et al., 1999), and as having experienced physical and sexual abuse themselves (Boisset-Pioro et al., 1995) or the unwanted touch of another (Taylor et al., 1995). Childhood maltreatment is highly correlated with both psychiatric distress as well as fibromyalgia symptom severity as measured by higher tender point counts (Walker et al., 1997b; McBeth t al., 1999). A far greater percentage of women having experienced wide areas of intense pain, are those same individuals who tend to report prior childhood (and/or adult) sexual abuse (Finestone et al., 2000). Patients in this group, especially those with histories of emotional trauma (Aaron et al., 1997), tend to seek health care and report the greatest number of family physician visits and number of surgical operations (Firestone et al., 2000). [Yikes-v]  In response to their stressful histories, fibromyalgia patients present symptoms of a lifetime of depression, history of somatization {?}, anxiety, hysteria, and psychasthenia{?} (Ahles et al., 1984; Hudson et al., 1985; Burckhardt et al., 1993; Walker et al., 1997b) as well as deficits in emotional and social role functioning. [Notice these brilliant people don’t lack for intelligence. They are so bright and often are overachievers because they want to control their lives.-v]
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a functional gastrointestinal disorder (with symptoms of abdominal pain, bloating, and changes in bowel patterns in the absence of cellular abnormalities) that also presents comorbity{?} with fibromyalgia and vice versa (Veal et a., 1991; Canataroglu et al., 2001). IBS patients also bring their chronic emotional and visceral responses to their histories of childhood (and adult if appropriate) physical and sexual abuse (Walker et al., 1995), exposure to threat (Dill et al., 1997), psychological family disruption (Lowman et al., 1987) as well as emotional and verbal abuse (Talley et al., 1995) into their current emotional and physical experience. [Dear HF, this doesn’t sound fair!-v] They are more likely to present chronic depression, generalized anxiety, and symptoms of somatization (Walker et al., 1995) than patients with symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) or ulcerative colitis. IBS patients who had endured chronic threat throughout their lives and prior to symptom expression are less likely to respond positively to treatment’s effects (Bennett et al., 1998). In a group of symptomatic IBS patients, psychosocial stress was negatively correlated with recovery from post-infective symptoms. Rectal biopsy specimens showed increased chronic inflammatory cell counts when compared with remitted IBS patients despite recovery from active infection (Gwee et al., 1999). Those patients with both inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and psychiatric diagnoses tend to present histories of adult victimization of physical and sexual abuses (Walker et al., 1996) and suffer significantly greater symptom distress than an IBD population without psychiatric diagnoses.[This one IBD deeply affects Spot.-v]
The literature suggests that there is some link between childhood histories of adversity, (i.e. emotional neglect, disruption, and trauma, as well as physical and sexual abuse) and adult populations having autoimmune disease. Histories of adversity elicit chronic persistent stress arousal (as the reader will see later in this web site) that have the capacity to underlie the later development of physical disease by chronically stimulating stress neurocircuitry, neurohormones, and proinflammatory cytokines. Stress induced inflammation is not easily extinguished in persistently and chronically stressful environments, especially during early childhood when the brain and central nervous system is undergoing a remarkable rate of growth. Neurohormonal mechanisms for negative feedback and anti-inflammatory immune markers to cool chronic arousal and inflammation provide strategies that only work on limited complementary inflammatory responses. The interaction of all these neurobiological components allow for the later expression of physical symptoms.
Future sections of this web site will demonstrate how chronic stress underlies the later genetic expression for psychiatric symptoms (e.g. depression, PTSD, anxiety, aggression associated with anti-social personality disorder, etc.) and organic and functional disease (e.g. rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosis, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, polymyalgia rheumatica, as well as fibromyalgia and IBS). The later expression of adult symptoms is dependent on both one’s genetic predisposition and the degree and duration of chronic stress. The intensity of the stress response is more important to an individual’s neurobiological response than its nature. The interaction of both these variables will determine the nature of neuroendocrine and neuroimmune synthesis, release, and secretion to life stressors at any point in the life cycle.

“aggression associated with anti-social personality disorder”- Las Vegas massacre was done by an anti-social personality. We see only the surface when the news is reported and we are left wondering why? WHY?
@@@ Woah, that was a professional article wasn’t it. It was not for the masses. It was not from Wikipedia! I don’t like learning about stuff like that. It depressed me. About half way through I started asking myself, can Jesus Christ and HF perform miracles to overcome this stuff? When do they and when don’t they? I would love to know the details about how that works!!!! : Pie in the sky, Shot in the dark, Pipe dream.
pipe dream ˈpīp ˌdrēm/noun\an unattainable or fanciful hope or scheme.\
synonyms:
fantasy, false hope, illusion, delusion, daydream, chimera;
castle in the air, castle in Spain;
informal pie in the sky
"for most aspiring actors, that starring role is just a pipe dream"
Why did I include the references? To give it a higher degree of credibility.
