Good morning Monday,
I wrote missymusic this morning and I entitled it Monday, Tuesday, 15yearoldkitty, I mean Wednesday. Her follow-her-around-the-house cat's name is Wednesday which is the day she got her.
Sissymusic is one of the sisters I have gotten to know through my dating efforts on an lds dating website. I have been active on the site since just over 2 years ago. And it has not rendered a suitable partner yet. And it has not been for lack of trying. I have proposed 3 times: Layton, Sally and Mareea. The last one I called off. None of them involved an engagement ring. And I can't say engagement ring without thinking of the pretend diamond Pandra wears. They want to wait until they can afford a real diamond. So foreign to my way of thinking.
I wanted to trash a folder entitled 3 lovely ladies. I guess some months ago I wrote this letter to send to 3 sisters on ldssc. None of them responded. As I reread it just now I thought, well that is a little forward.
Hello Lovely Lady Sister,
I missed church today and I am not sure who they had put the
hymn numbers up and lead the music. I have
had bad-news stomach flu and only ate 3 yogurts yesterday. I awoke at 8am then at 9:20am. Sacrament
Meeting started at 9!! Oops!
The music chairman emailed me on how I am doing/health wise/ but she did
not say how they made out either. I have
explained and asked, so maybe she will update me. I missed once, ONCE last year when the time changed and I showed
up an hour late. Or maybe that was the year before. I never miss, and wouldn’t have today if I
had stayed awake.
I have my stereo system set up so I can listen throughout
the house. I bathed at noon and listened to Grateful in Any Circumstances
By President Dieter F. Uchtdorf
By President Dieter F. Uchtdorf
It was the richest listening so far! When I was about 3/4ths the way through I
thought, Would the Savior say it any differently?
So beautiful. So solutionful. If I were him and had to ache
for the sorrowing Saints I would want an antidote as well/ balm of Gilead.
So will you/we pick the goblet or the bottle?
It
might sound contrary to the wisdom of the world to suggest that one who is
burdened with sorrow should give thanks to God. But those who set aside the
bottle of bitterness and lift instead the goblet of gratitude can
find a purifying drink of healing, peace, and understanding.
As
disciples of Christ, we are commanded to “thank the Lord [our] God in all
things,”1 to
“sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving,”2 and to “let
[our] heart be full of thanks unto God.”3
Sounds like the Genie is in the goblet this time!

Last week there were four younger women/sisters that I welcomed/wrote right here in Saint George. All of them opened the letter but only one responded. I wrote her back today and told her the results of that experiment and thanked her for her courage. What follows it the note I sent that got responded to.

Hello macie,
I'll bet the people in Bolivia loved your blue eyes!
I wanted to start a club of singles here in Saint George from those of us with Ldss.c accounts. Try as I might it has not worked so far. Perhaps it is because the length of time people stay members of this website is usually only months.
I am retired after teaching Jr. High science for 33 years. My principal thought I was turning into a mad scientist. I wasn't, at least I don't think so.
I lead the music in my ward's sacrament meetings and had never done anything like that until 4 years ago. I have always loved to sing, even as a tot in primary. But back then I couldn't tell when I was on key and when I wasn't.
I have written you 5 little paragraphs. There are only 125 people on line at this hour and 3 of the girls are from Saint George. Unusual. How about writing me 5 little paragraphs back? If you don't want to tell me about yourself like I told you about me, or you could just type me 5 articles of faith.
